DescriptionRehoboth Congregational Chapel was built in 1827, rebuilt in 1846 and modified in 1898-9. The chapels fabric was renewed in 1904-05 to the design of architects Habershon, Fawckner and Co of Newport. The later chapel was built in the later Vernacular style with two storeys, a gable entry plan and an unusual full width porch (possibly from 1898-9 when the organ and Sunday School were added). The front was rendered and the sides built of coursed rubble with large pane flat-headed windows. This chapel was still in use in 1996 but stood disused and gutted by 2004 and had been demolished by 2008. Planning was applied for a private housing development on the site.
