Bethel Independent Chapel was built in 1881 in the Gothic/Arts and Craft style by architect and builder J.W.Vaughan of Colwyn Bay. Its plan is unusual, having a porch entry to the left side of the main gable-end facade, which has a large double transomed three-light window with a segmental head. The rendered facade has a decorative barge-board, a narrow vent in the apex and a plaque to left of the window.
