Prestatyn Methodist Chapel was recorded as a chapel before1823 but this chapel was converted to a house c.1840 by a local colliery owner, Mr Batters, whose family lived there until 1992. The annexe to the south of the building, now the kitchen of the house, was originally the minister's lodging. This building is now Grade 2 Listed.
