DescriptionThe Vicarage is situated some 90m north of All Saints Church (NPRN 104674). The two are contemporary, and the house was built in 1870-1 by G E Street of London, who also built the church.
It is a large two-storey Victorian house built in a simplified Gothic style with varied gabled elevations. Built from grey snecked rock-faced rubble stone with Bath stone dressings, it has grey slate roofs and terracotta ridges. There are flush ashlar mullion and transom windows to the main west and south elevations, and mullion windows elsewhere. It has a complex roof form and the chimneys of the house originally had tall redbrick diagonally-set stacks, but are now truncated.
