Zion Independent Chapel was built 1877and rebuilt c.1890 to the design of architects Habershon and Fawckner of Newport. This later chapel is built in the simple Gothic style of the long-wall entry type. By 1995 this chapel had changed demonimation to Congregational. It is now known as Zion Miners Chapel.
