DescriptionSt John's church is located in Stanley Road, set back from the road on its east side. It was built in 1932 to designs of architect A.F.Webb of Blackwood. It has a pebble-dashed walls and dressings of grey artificial Portland Stone. The Incorporated Church Building Society objected to the design, rejecting an application for a building grant in 1931. Stained glass includes work by Celtic Studios (1963).
