Description
Ynys-Ddu Methodist Chapel was built in 1895. It is built in a simple Edwardian Baroque design with domestic-type windows. It has a central gable-door of Bath stone flanked by windows with yellow-brick dressings. There are three similar windows on the upper front capped by a typically elaborate plaque of this period in the gable. The mass walling is of squared Pannant Sandstone with rubble of a similar material on the sides, with five large rectangular windows and a small rear chimney. In 2002 the building was intact and appeared to be in use as a chapel.
