DescriptionBethany English Presbyterian Chapel was built in 1858 and improved in 1867. It was originally called Bethania until it was replaced in 1905 by a larger chapel nearby (NPRN 9525). The present chapel, dated 1867, is stone built with a slate roof and gable entry plan. It has 2 storeys with 3 arched windows to each side. inside there is a 3 sided gallery, supported on 5 iron colums, pannelled with painted graining. This chapel is now Grade 2 Listed as a well designed chapel with a classical facade and good interior.
