Description
The church of St Mary the Virgin is located on the west side of Bridgend Road, a small stone-faced building with tiled roofs close to the road. It was built in Perpendicular style in 1891 to designs of Halliday & Anderson. Aligned north-south, it consists of nave and lower chancel, bellcote above south gable, half-timbered south-east gabled porch, and north-west vestry.
