DescriptionSt Alban's church is located on the east side of St Alban's Road (B4522), opposite a junction with Blaen-y-cwm Road. It was built in 1890-1 to the designs of E.M.Bruce Vaughan at a time of industrial expansion in the upper Rhondda valley, and its then location was the contemporary north-western margin of the settlement. The church consists of broad nave and chancel in one. It features geometrical tracery, an arch-braced roof and a curious timber chancel arch. A fleche was demolished in 1991.
