Description
St Barnabas church is located on the east side of Ardmore Avenue. It was built in 1914-15 to replace the iron mission church which then became the church hall (NPRN 420472). The church was built in Early English style to designs of architect A.O.Evans of Pontypridd. Plans by E.M.Bruce Vaughan were abandoned due to lack of funds. The church consists of nave and chancel with south aisle and south-west gable porch.
