DescriptionSt Catherine's church is located on the north-east side of Mill Road. It is a modern building, brick-built with a tile roof. It lies on the site of a predecessor church built before 1920 but after 1900. Nothing is known of construction but it was built at a time when the town of Caerphilly was expanding to the north with new housing developments. By 1937 the church had been replaced, or modified on the same alignment. It now had an apse, what was perhaps a vestry, on the south east, and a church hall at right angles on the west end. The church entrance may have been through the hall. These buildings were eventually replaced.
Behind the present church, to the north, is the new church hall - built in similar style.
