Description
1. Remains of posible medieval building (garth).

2. The remains of this building, 16m by 5.5m internally, defined by a turf bank, 2.0m wide, do not seem appropriate for a domestic building, composed as they are of 'huge blocks od quartz from an adjacent outcrop'. The site is depicted as a chapel on Saxton's 1575 map and named 'Llanferch', but was used as a private residence by the e.17th century.
The orientation of the building is acceptable as that of a chapel.
