Description1. Large pit exposed in cliff erosion. 13th Century material. Excavation revealed earlier plough soil and cattle hoof prints under the sand.
2. Pit: 3m diameter and 1.5m deep. 13th century material include: wood and wooden objects, pottery (75 vessels including one glazed, they appear to have been produced locally) and well preserved leather shoes. Other finds include animal bones including an Ox scapula and a stone axe found in the loose.
