Description
A building platform located on the north-east facing slopes of Gelligaer Common, overlooking the Darran valley. The platform terrace measures 10.8m long (north-east by south-west), the upper and lower ends 4.5m and 4m wide respectively. The terrace is cut back deeply to form a hood 1.1m deep while the terrace is built out to 0.75m high. The west side of the hood is slightly embanked as are the north-east end and west long sides of the terrace.
