This building, a farmhouse, is much as it was when described in the Glamorgan Inventory. However, it now lies within a forestry plantation and is densely overgrown with bramble and bracken undergrowth, impenetrable in summer (as when previously visited in 1991). The building is made of dry-course masonry with a preponderance of slabs. Walls still stand to about 1.8m high and the building is clearly subdivided into five compartments arranged on three descending steps cut into the slope.
Lynchets are still visible to the E, if the house is approached from that direction. The wire fence to the immediate E of the building appears to have been erected on one.
The building is depicted (unannotated) on basic scale maps.
