The West Aberthaw Village Earthworks are the remains of a shrunken hamlet comprised of an embanked croft and two platforms. Ploughed out earthworks lie in an adjacent field to the south-west (ST 02346675), and a small late medieval chapel is incorporated in farm buildings at ST 02326682.
