1. The hillfort encloses a sub-triangular hill-top and is now heavily built upon. E side largely destroyed by quarrying. Intermittently preserved single rampart has no visible outer ditch. Inturned entrance.

2. The enclosure, as described above, is c.366m NNW-SSE by 188m, resting originally on steep slopes to N & E.
An oportune section indicated possible dry-stone revetting fronting the rampart.
