DescriptionThe Old Rectory is a two storey stone building covered in rubble render with a modern slate roof. It is seventeenth century in date and has a complex plan with additions and alterations made in the eighteenth century. Despite the substantial alterations, elements of the sub-medieval plan remain.
The basic plan is of a main block and cross-wing with modern partitions, although two original cross beams survive. It has tall massive chimneys with shoulders.
