Description
1. Mid - late 18th Century. 2 storeys and attic. Central pediment. Pebbledashed. Small pointed attic window.

2. A late georgian two and a half storey house with a symetrical south-eastern main facade. The house is pebble dashed and slate-roofed, with end chimney stacks. The buildings adjoining on the north-east, 'The Hermitage' (NPRN 15718) and 'Old Barracks Cottage' (NPRN 15768), once formed the service quarters, being converted into separate dwellings in the early twentieth century. There is an outbuilding, sometimes a garage, to the south-east (NPRN 31076). 'Hermitage Cottage' (NPRN 15717) and 'Old Barracks' (NPRN 23143), were once also outbuildings.
