Description
Entrance to the Park (NPRN 265416) of Plas Newydd (NPRN 15824), designed and built by Joseph Potter in about 1805. This is a symetrical castellated composition. The main four centred arch is supported by buttresses and flanked by small pedestrian arches. The structure is battlemented and it is completed to either side by an octagonal turret. It is built of limestone ashlar masonry.

The robustly Gothick Grand Lodge (NPRN 15822) replaces the original lodge.
