Description
The centre two houses in an early nineteenth century, late Georgian, terrace of fourteen. In contrast to the rest of the terrace this pair is three storey with rusticated details and a wide central arched passage giving access to gardens behind. They present two window bay street fronts with outer doorways. The walls are of red painted brick, framed by stuccoed end pilasters.
The houses to either side are: Nos. 1-6 (NPRN 16404);
Nos. 9-14 (NPRN 16406).
The first edition of the OS Brecon Town Plan (1888) shows very long garden plots or allotments, stretching back to the railway.

No. 3 is two rooms deep. It is two storey with an attic above and a cellar beneath the front part. It has a long service range at the rear, brick-walled under a gable roof.
