Description
The end six houses in an early nineteenth century, late Georgian, terrace of fourteen. They are slate roofed. The central pair, Nos. 7-8 (NPRN 16405), are three storeys with a central arch, Nos. 1-6 (NPRN 16404) & 9-14, are two storeys. Nos. 9-13 show two window bay street fronts, No. 14 having a three bay front with a central doorway. Nos. 11-14 have squared doorcases with bracketed cornices. No. 9 has an arched, pedimented doorcase. There are plain doorways to passages leading to gardens at the rear between Nos. 9 & 10 and 11 & 12.
The first edition OS Brecon Town Plan (1888) shows very long garden plots or allotments, stretching back to the railway.

No. 3 is two rooms deep. It is two storey with an attic above and a cellar beneath the front part. It has a long service range at the rear, brick-walled under a gable roof.
