Description
A three storey house, displaying a four window front to The Whatton, under a slate roof with projecting eaves, flanked by end chimney stacks. The walls are of regular coursed small dressed stone. The doorway is off-centre. The house bears a datestone of 1774, this is born out by the interior details.
A rear range, depicted on OS first edition Town Plan of Breco (1888), is gone.
The house is heavily butressed on the south-east, where the adjoining Oxford House (NPRN 16419) has been demolished.
