Eighteenth-century, single storey cottage, one of the older surviving examples of such cottages in the region. The cottage was originally part of the Plas-yn-Rhiw estate and is now owned by the National Trust. It is famous for being the retirement home of the poet R S Thomas from 1978 to 1996.
