Description
A two storey stone walled cottage with a slate gabled roof. Depicted on the 1st edition OS County series (Caernarvon. V.2 1871), the building was refurbished in the style of Penrhyn Hall (NPRN 16691) in the early nineteenth century, when the present ashlar framed mullioned windows were inserted.
Known as the 'South Lodge' the cottage is set at the inner end of the north drive and is similar in style to the North Lodge at the outer end (NPRN 16604), built between 1913 & 1937.
