Description
A terrace of nine two storey houses or cottages, built in the 1860s to house quarry workers. Something close to their original layout is portrayed on the OS County series 1st edition (Caernarvon. XXVIII.5 1889).
The first house at the north-west end is taller and projects slightly from the general line. It has a higher roof and has been divided into two residences, Nos. 1&2.
Nos. 1&2 to 5 have/had three window fronts with central doorways flanked by windows. Nos. 6-10 are smaller, with two window fronts.
The terrace is stone built and, other than No. 1&2, has a common slate gabled roof. Several houses are stuccoed or otherwise rendered, and several have small slate gabled porches.
