A late eighteenth to mid nineteenth century cottage, now much extended, modernised and otherwise altered.
The cottage is a single storey building with attics. It has pebbledashed walls and a slate gabled roof, with a chimney stack in the south gable wall. It faces east where there is a central doorway flanked by windows. The attic windows are set within small cross gables.
It is possible that this was originally a part-lofted 'crugloft' cottage.
