1. Circa 1750 or later. Squared coursed rubble. Rectangular chimneys. Beams and joists roughly hewn.

2. The 1st, 2nd and 3rd editions of the historic 25-inch O. S. maps, published in 1889, 1900 and 1918 respectively, depict a pond and sluice to the south of the farm buildings, suggesting that water power was used here, possibly to process animal feeds. Water came from small streams draining the hills to the south-east.
