Ty-Du was a 17th Century house of one storey, formerly with loft with ruins of later outbuildings at either end. The original house, now a barn, is built of rubble with a roof covered in modern slates. The main front has a nearly central doorway which was originally wider, between 2 small square windows. The site is named on the first edition OS 25" map, CA XVI. 8, of 1889.
