Description
An L-plan house, two storeys with rubble stone walls and slate gabled roofs.
The earliest part is the north range which has a massive end stack and fireplace stair at the west end. The eastern part appears to have been truncated in the eighteenth century when the present east gable end was built. The south range was added in the seventeenth century. This has a projecting bay at the north-east and a south end chimney stack. The upper storey is lit by semi-dormers.
The house has been much restored since 1971. The interior retains some early features includig stairs, roof timbers, fireplace beam and a post and panel partition.
