A house of about 1850, the end property in a row, depicted on the 1st edition OS County series (Carmarthen. XXXIII.15 1886) and shown as a public house on the 2nd edition of 1906.
This is a two storey three bay building under a slate gabled roof. It has a colourwashed plastered streetfront with 'SALUTATION INN' in raised plaster letters. It has sash windows and a central round headed doorway set within a corniced timber porch first depicted in 1906.
There are or were, two outbuilding ranges set about a yard at the rear, with a garden plot beyond.
