DescriptionThe Blue Anchor Inn at Aberthaw is said to date from the fourteenth-century though the present property is mid-sixteenth-century with later extensions. It was probably first built as a house but its siting and development suggest that it became a public house early in its history. In 2004 a serious fire destroyed the roof and parts of the interior.
