Description
The former Coast Lines warehouse stands on the north quayside of South Dock (NPRN 300028); erected in 1901, it is a long two-storey red-brick building under pitched slate roofs. The interior retains its open-boarded roof with lightweight metal trusses and the main floor is of fireproof construction with cross-girders on central lattice stanchions, with shallow segmental plates between. Latterly the home of Swansea's Maritime and Industrial Museum, it has been refurbished as part of the National Waterfront Museum (NPRN 405898).
