Description
Palladian-style mansion built by Sir John Morris c1775. Designed by John Johnson, architect of Leister. Demolished folowing death of Sir John Morris in 1819. A drawing by T. Rothwell (c1792) shows it as a three-storeyed, symmetrically fenestrated house with low flanking pavilions linked by screen walls. Materials from Clasemont were later used in the construction of Sketty Park House (NPRN 19974).
