Court Colman is a simplified Italianate style house, probably built in the second quarter of the 19th century, enlarged in 1907 with the addition of a third storey and 2 bay wings. The centre and ends are crowned with pedimented gables and Venetian windows. The single-storey ballroom, and the porch appear to be later still, and both have concrete balustrades and round-headed windows. There is a plain parapet with urns. The house was converted to an hotel in the 1980s.
