An oval midden mound dating from the late-twelfth to early-thirteenth century, in the middle of which is a rectangular depression indicating the site of an earlier drystone hut. The mound is aligned north-west by south-east and measures 12m by 7 and is 60cm high. It is aligned north-east by south-west and measures 2m by 6 m.
