Gethin comprises a two-storey farmhouse with an attached barn, largely rebuilt in the nineteenth-century. Depicted only on the second edition Ordnance Survey 25in map of 1900 is what may have been a horse gin circle immediately to the north of the barn.
Modern mapping (2009) suggests that the building has been demolished.
