Description
2-storey house, plus attic, of late C16/early C17 date, although with extensive modernisation. Rendered rubble construction with modern slate roof. The windows are large with semi-dormers to the middle and west rooms of the first floor. Structurally, the house is comprised of three main parts, the main unit on the west, the kitchen range, and dairy and servants range. The original ceiling beams survive in the ground floor central and west rooms, and the east doorway to the stairs and the north doorway to the dairy retain their chamfered wooden frames with straight heads.
