Said to have been built circa 1810 (for the Crawshay family, industrialists of Merthyr Tydfil) but has later 19th century details. SE elevation of two storeys with stuccoed cladding and rusticated ground floor. Slate roof. Centre three bays project forward, each crowned with gable white bargeboard. Ground floor 3 pane wide sash window to each side of central paired sash. Flanking wings to each side of central projection with 3 sash windows with glazing bay on 1st floor & sash windows with cornices on brackets in outer ground floor openings. Doorways in iron bays of flanking wings, half glazed door with cornice on brackets & panellled pilasters. (Cadw Listed Building description 03/11/2004 K.A. Andrews)
