Kennexstone Farmhouse, a typical farmhouse from the Gower with red washed stone walls and a thatched roof, dates from 1610 and was extended in 1680 and 1750; much of the furniture is from Glamorgan. Re-erection of the building at St Fagans Museum of Welsh Life commenced in 1952 and it was opened to the public in May 1955.
