DescriptionOrchard farmhouse is a single-storey and attic farmhouse of sub-medieval origin. Built c1600 with eighteenth century alterations and the recent conversion of attached outbuilding, it is whitewashed rubble construction under a slate roof with a rebuilt brick chimney stack to the left. It still retains an eighteenth century reset post and panel partition , Tudor doorheads, a newel stair and an A-frame roof structure. Although there is some modern glazing, there is also a diamond mullioned window retained to the two-window rear.
It is included notwithstanding recent alterations for the interest of the remaining interior detail.
