Description
Number 7 Arthur Street probably represents an early nineteenth century infilling of the space between the earlier Old Bell, to the south, and numbers 9 and 11, to the north. It is possible that it was a service range of the Old Bell Inn. During the late nineteenth century it was occupied by clock and watchmakers.
