Description
A pair of late eighteenth century to early nineteenth century three-storey red brick houses, now one. They possibly represent earlier, re-fronted buildings. The houses appear to have been built as separate shop premises with their own entrances. The surgery of Dr Fairles was in one of the cottages around 1870. The Gornall Brothers, painters and decorators, established 1901, occupied the building until the end of the twentieth century.
