Description
Early 20th century, Edwardian plain classical style Bank: 3-storeys, 6 window ashlar front with channelled ground floor and stepped plinth. Steeply slate pitched roof, raking gable parapets and deep eaves on paired brackets. Advanced end bays rise above eaves with cornices and chamfered corners. 8-pane sash windows: segmental hoods to the 2nd floor windows with plain architrave and aprons. Flat hoods to the 1st floor windows within recessed panels and moulded reveals. 4 centre bays recessed between giant order pilasters. Continuous sill band to the 2nd floor windows set under the eaves. Modern fascia over ground floor windows. Doorways to the outer bays with simply moulded architraves and rectangular fanlight above the door head bearing egg and dart moulding over dentils.
