DescriptionOne of two earthworks located just inside enclosed land at the south-eastern edge of Fforest Gwladys on Gelligaer Common. When visited in 1991, the earthwork appeared as previously described by Ordnance Survey in 1969. Located on a level summit it measures 24.4m (north-north-east by south-south-west) by 20.7m. It is defined by a bank (externally ditched) about 6m wide and up to 0.9m high (max). There are opposing entrances, that on the west with an internal clavicula.
Its neighbour is set about 45m to the east (see NPRN 225494).
Similar earthworks are located in the general locality, both on the common and adjacent enclosed land.
