Description
Cilwendeg Pigeon House is a large ornamental structure with a central portion having 7 tiers of cornices with a curved pediment set between pilasters with a pinnacle above and a taller portion at each end.

It was built for Morgan Jones of Cilwendeg in 1835, to a degree of elaboration unparallelled in Wales, it is said to have been built for ducks and geese on the ground floor wings, turkeys in centre, dogs between, hens on the first floor and pigeons on the upper shelves. Generally each room has two tiers of large square nesting boxes, slate-lined with slate front step,
