Description
Occupying the ridge of Craig Ruperra is a long, oval ('sausage-shaped') enclosure defined, in places, by two lines of banking/scarping. Difficult to evaluate as the site is afforested and the defences enveloped in undergrowth. At the south-west end it has been damaged by quarrying; the entrance appears to have been located here.
A motte (NPRN 91997) has been constructed at the north-east end.
