Description1. An octagonal tower, embedded in Summerhouse house: the tower appears to have stood at the north-eastern end of St Donat's castle East Deer Park, itself of possible of medieval origin: the tower may have formed part of the later 17th century works undertaken at St Donat's castle (Nprn300312), including a tower associated with the west park (Nprn37674). Part of nprn 301676.
Possibly a prospect tower rather than a lodge.
