Built 1959-61 to the Neo-Georgian designs of Stephenson, Young & Partners. Brick, with three storeys of freely proportioned sash windows. Modelled on Stockholm Town Hall. Wing with low-pitched copper roof and rectangular lantern. Extended in 1980-1.
